I'm an incoming MS HCDE student at the University of Washington, and I'm working as a UX/UI Designer at a non-profit, where I'm actively working on my design and communication skills. At the same time, I'm learning about color psychology and human-design interaction, enriching my knowledge outside of my role. In the future, I hope to use design as a means to advocate for mental health awareness among communities of color!

I studied psychology and minored in neuroscience, counseling and social change in undergrad. Throughout my college journey, I was dedicated to my dream of becoming a neuropsychologist, until a pivotal moment in my senior year. During an advising session with a fellow student, I stumbled upon the world of UX, and this discovery essentially altered my future career path. Since that transformative moment, my fascination with UX has grown, as it seamlessly weaves together my passions for art, design, and the intricate nature of the human experience.
With a background in psychology, I cultivate a deep understanding of diverse human conditions and foster empathy for the daily challenges people confront. As I embark on my journey in the world of UX, my goal is to craft solutions that are not only insightful and intuitive but also profoundly inspirational.
