hey there,
i'm sahini!
I’m a Seattle-based UX Designer and Researcher with a background in psychology.
I care a lot about making things accessible, emotionally resonant, and just a little bit pretty. My background in psychology means I think a lot about why people do what they do...which turns out to be a very useful obsession in UX!
I'm currently doing my Master's in HCDE at UW, where I'm learning how to design for behavioral change and prototype with AI using human centered design principles.
I specialize in user research and accessibility. Basically, I'm the person who asks "but what if the user does this?" and then watches everyone quietly panic.
I’ve done some cool things like conduct an usability evaluation for Google Vertex AI and create an accessible makeup holder for individuals with C5 spinal cord injuries through HuskyAdapt.
When I'm not designing or researching, you can find me making art, fueling up with matcha, watching sunsets, collecting cat memes, or learning about new LLMs!
if you want to learn more about me, check out my museum :))
