RESEARCH
Next, I conducted user interviews and research to identify the needs of first generation immigrants and incoming students.
To gain deeper insights into user behavior, I conducted interviews and created empathy maps. This research highlighted the significant presence of first-generation immigrants, encompassing incoming students and young individuals from diverse international backgrounds. To address the needs of this demographic, particularly the younger generation, I developed a user-friendly mobile app interface characterized by its intuitive interface. Additionally, I wanted to prioritize inclusivity by integrating accessibility features, ensuring a seamless experience for all users regardless of their abilities.

THE PROBLEM
First-generation immigrants have trouble finding jobs.
The job market does not always favor first-generation immigrants because of their background or difference in skills. This results in immigrants being stuck in jobs without satisfaction. Therefore I wanted to design an app that would give first-generation immigrants an outlet to find jobs they find rewarding and other resources that promote confidence and leadership in job search.
